Listen "EPISODE #78: The Many Benefits of Acceptance Commitment Therapy!"
Episode Synopsis
Angela is proud to be trained in Mindfulness Yoga Acceptance Commitment Therapy/training and sees the improved outcomes in individuals and families every single day in her small but growing practice. She uses elements of the modality in her personal and professional life. Angela is pleased to be able to speak to the research and the practice based evidence at the 9th International Research Conference of FASD for Adults and Adolescents in Seattle Washington. She is also participating in a poster session to highlight what we've learned after offering training specific for Social Workers and front line clinicians involved in screening and assessment services! So far the feedback has been great and she is excited to share and contribute to reducing both the incidents, and the impact of prenatal (alcohol) exposures.
