Kate Wiesner Drafted No. 7 Overall By Washington Spirit In 2024 NWSL Draft from Penn State. Through five years with the program, Wiesner tallied six goals, 18 assists, and 59 starts through 71 appearances. She scored her first career goal in her collegiate debut against Stanford in 2019. The left-back didn’t participate in the 2021 spring season due to an injury but bounced back to appear in 19 games during her junior season.
