We have very weird relationships with imaginary play. On the one hand, we are blown away by our children's abilities to create this imaginary world, with all these imaginary characters and places, and scenarios. On the other hand, we kind of suck at imaginary play.. and dare I say, we kind of low key *hate* it? I know that for a lot of parents imaginary play is their strong suit and my god how I envy you.
