Atalanta are a small club from Bergamo, Lombardo, Italy that was founded in 1907. They are affectionately known as 'Regina Delle  Provinciali' which translates to 'Queen of provincial clubs'. This is to mark the fact that they are the most consistent team in Italy not based in a regional capital. 
We took a closer look at Gian Piero Gasperini's rampaging Atalanta project that has captivated the hearts and minds of football fans all over the world.
