Having self-discipline is tough. Mastering oneself, controlling emotions, and getting things done no matter the circumstance. If you can discipline yourself you will be able to accomplish anything you put your mind too. Here’s a proverb that’s helps me with discipline and I believe this will help you too.

Proverbs 29:18 – Where there is no revelation people cast off restraint, but blessed are those who heed wisdom’s instruction.

In other words: Where there is no vision, the people perish. (Perish does not mean to die or be destroyed. It means to lack self-control or discipline. If you don’t know where you’re going any road will take you there.) The reciprocal of this proverb is also true: Where there is clear and strong vision, the people prosper. When there is a vision of conquest, the people conquer. Where there is a vision of adventure, the people will live daring and exciting lives. You can make your life be anything you want it to be and it beings with vision!
