Without this, religion is but a shadow, a reflection of reality, a cheap copy of an original once enjoyed by someone else of whom we have heard. Acts 27:23It cannot but be a major tragedy in the life of any man to live in a church from childhood to old age and know nothing more real than some synthetic god compounded of theology and logic, but having no eyes to see, no ears to hear, and no heart to love. Today, we read about Paul and an angel having a conversation in the midst of a trying time. The time is so dire, it looks as if all will die. However, Paul is so untroubled and sure of his conversation with the angel, everyone else believes too! I want that same intense faith and experience!  I want that original, so join me in reading Acts 27 and be encouraged!
