Send us a textWe see the title "sluggard" in the Scriptures referring to those who are not willing to work or really contribute at all.  And studying this we can see that God does not condone sluggishness rather expects people, especially those who claim Him as their God, to be diligent in their character and take care of business.  Poverty is one consequence of being "sluggish" although some in poverty are not sluggish rather they work but are stuck in poverty.  God doesn't condemn them as they are diligent in their lives.  And a sluggish person can have a sluggish relationship with God resulting in nothing but failure because they don't pursue God diligently.
