Recorded for the Dark Outside this is part of a project I conceived just before a several month creative "drought" where I completely any drive to make music.

The text is generated with GPT-2 a machine learning algorithm that was trained on a vast corpus of text drawn from the internet. To my mind this is the ultimate cultural sampler as the next step after sampling verbatim sections of audio and video - this is synthesising something new from textual samples. Interestingly the text had to be edited to remove sections were the algorithm veered off into less savoury content that was getting fairly racist.

I have some further material along these lines and may consider putting together a release - probably not under the 'junklight' name but rather something new....
