Listen "Kei Takahashi’s Perspective as an International Student at Juniata"
Episode Synopsis
On this episode of the Juniata Podcast, Jamel and Rohan talk with International Student Kei Takahashi, a sophomore pursuing an individualized POE of International Political Economy. Kei is a very involved here at Juniata; he works at the Center for International Education, he's a peer mentor, an International Student Rep and he’s even part of the Pep band as a drummer! He gives us his perspective on what it was like coming to Juniata from his home town in Japan and gives an inspiring message to other international students looking to study abroad.
We ventured into the realm of deep discussion on why he chose Juniata and why he has decided to stay even during the tough times of the pandemic and geopolitical shifst. Kei is a wonderful example of breaking through your own boundaries and finding your home in a new place by being comfortable with being uncomfortable.
