Listen "21. Cancel Culture vs. Being Held Accountable"
Episode Synopsis
Cancel Culture: a common social media term that refers to mass withdraw of supporters or followers of a famous person on a platform due to a comment or action normally considered as taboo or offensive. Though it is good to hold people accountable, cancel culture can be super harmful to a person's health and to their lives in general when "cancelled" wrongfully, or even just excessively. In this podcast we address the bigger parts of cancel culture like hate, mob mentality, and different celebrities we've watched go down this road, hopefully bringing some attention to shed some light on the topic of how cancelling and holding people accountable are different.
