Today we are talking about the wide world of recycling, with a particular emphasis with the plague of plastic and the problems plastic provides. We begin our journey at the introduction of the plastic industry to a post-WW2 world and how much advertising pushed the plastic industry front and center. We then move to various attempts to deal with the plastic garbage and the obfuscation used to answer the issue. We then move to an international look and see have a brief glimpse of the international trade of "recyclable" materials. We finally finish off with a look at a few things you can do to help fix the problems the current system has created.
