The Josephson Voices Project is a collection of voice recordings documenting the oral history of the 'Liverpool Road, Clayfield branch' of the Josephson family. Recorded by me, Tim O'Loan, and produced by my cousin Max Clarke - nephews to the group of amazing women we, my cousins, call 'The Aunts'. Each episode features one of our aunts sharing stories from the childhood they shared together. Every aunt was asked the same seven questions, and their unique responses offer diverse perspectives, stories, and insights into our family's past.This series aims to preserve our family's history in a practical, accessible way, especially as traditional storytelling has become harder to share due to more convenient, although reductive, digital communication forms. By recording our aunts directly, I'm hoping to maintain the integrity of these family stories and pass them down clearly and directly to future generations.
