Come join us at “Jom Mamak La”, an original podcast by the Leeds University Malaysian Society (LUMSOC). If you’re unfamiliar with the Malaysian culture, “Jom” translates to “let’s go” while “Mamak” is an iconic local coffee shop where Malaysians, regardless of their race and age gathers to enjoy food and spend time together. Similarly, we are trying to replicate the environment of Mamaks to Malaysians who currently resides in Leeds or anywhere outside of Malaysia.
