We are in a series describing what it means to be a kingdom citizen! The Sermon on the Mount was preached by Jesus to describe what it looks like to follow him with total, unashamed abandonment of our desires and wants. Instead, we pick up our cross and follow him!
Today's message asks a crucial question, "where is your heart?" In the stillness of the night, what consumes your inner most thoughts? We have a choice, we can treasure up our treasures here on earth or we can store up our treasures in heaven where they will last!
This series is titled, "The Message on the Mountain," which is systematically preaching through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5-7.
