Prayer is of eminent importance and we are encouraged to be faithful in prayer during this time of lockdown and not lose heart but keep our eyes on the advancing of the Kingdom of God. Prayer will give us hope and encouragement and carry us through. The Scripture is full of the injunction from God for us to pray. Our prayers need to be preceded by thanksgiving. Christ has already won the victory, so let us rejoice in singing praises to Him and praying in the Spirit. Let the world see that we are a community of love, faith, hope and the peace of God, the rock and solid place in this time of storms.
