A student from the opposing school, Karmelo Anthony, entered the Memorial High School tent area as Austin Metcalf asked Anthony to leave. Words were exchanged and a stabbing ensued ultimately taking the life of Metcalf. The lack of legacy media coverage, unlike the 2003 Jordan Neely / Daniel Penny incident has raised questions about our nations media bias and the unethical reporting to stoke division and fear.
