Each week I speak to a new guest with a very interesting job. You’ll hear about their personal paths to doing what they do, the skills required, and the tools they use for the job… I’m Laura Leoncini and today my guest is Michael Gille, Helicopter Pilot at Rega, the Swiss Air Rescue. If flying is your passion, you might want to consider working for an organisation whose mission is to provide air rescue and assist in emergency situations. A helicopter crew comprises a pilot, a paramedic and a flight physician. Today I have the privilege to interview one of Rega’s pilots at the base in Lausanne. He just completed a mission to the hospital and has 20 minutes to dedicate to us. Here is Michael.
