Episode Synopsis

By late 1966 Gardner had joined Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention, playing tenor sax and other woodwinds. The Mothers found success, with Absolutely Free and We're Only in It for the Money entering the charts. Bunk recorded on over 17 albums with the Mothers, 6 with the Grandmothers of Invention, two with Geronimo Black and one solo album. At this date he's 87 years old and going strong! New Music" from BENT.
