In a response to a request for approval of 2023 funding for the Western Clydesdales, submitted to the ARLC in 2022 by QRL, the ARLC has expressed its stance on our participation. Their statement, as provided by Andrew Abdo, is as follows:
"The ARLC, as you are aware, has not approved the participation of the Western Clydesdales in the QRL Hostplus Cup and does not consider that such participation is in the best interests of the game as a whole."
