Episode Synopsis "Full Interview • Khairunissa and Fez Meghani | Ismaili Families Speak!"
Welcome to the first instalment of Ismaili Families Speak!, produced by Ismaili Ignition with host, Sahil Badruddin. In this series, we talk to parents about raising their children as Ismailis, including the challenges they face and solutions they've tried. We hope their insights will help other parents facing similar challenges. For this first episode, we have Khairunissa and Fez Meghani from Dallas, Texas in the United States. Fez was born in Karachi, grew up in Dubai, UAE, and moved to the USA in the summer of 1993. He is known in the community as a music producer, songwriter and singer with multiple Ismaili Geet albums to his credit. Khairunissa was also born in Karachi and moved to the United States in the summer of 1995. She is an Early Childhood Development Teacher and also serves on the Aga Khan Health Board for the Central US. Right now, she is pursuing her Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner. They were married in June of 2003 and have a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy.
