The co-founders of Liworaji Aboriginal Corporation are sisters Lilly and Maria Davidson.
On National Sorry Day they spoke at Ipswich City Council’s monthly meeting and gave a heartfelt Welcome to Country with moving personal stories.
During National Reconciliation Week, which runs until June 3rd, Ipswich Today presents highlights from their address in the council chamber.
