This week I am joined by the always great El Goro of the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast as we start a three part exploration of J. Michael Straczynski's comic series Rising Stars. First we set the stage talking about Straczynski himself and where he was at in his already successful career prior to breaking into the world of comics writing. Then we dig into the story of Poet, the last of 113 'Specials' and how their existence changed the world for good and for worse.  Parts 2 and 3 of the conversation will be in July and August.
