I am a Programme Coordinator in the Community Engagement division of Rhodes University. Community engagement is a core function of universities in South Africa. I am also a PhD candidate in Journalism, Media Studies, and Ethnomusicology at Rhodes University. Joining IMIsEE enabled me to seamlessly blend these two roles by using digital storytelling to explore the potential of community engagement in research.
