Episode Synopsis
I am a PhD student within the Indigenous Marine Innovations for Sustainable Environments and Economies (IMIsEE) project based at the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity and registered at Rhodes University. My current research aims to combine ecological engineering with indigenous cultural innovations and knowledge in finding nature-based alternatives to resolve some of the adverse impacts of coastal armouring from an early life-stage perspective.
