They had gone through times of great prosperity and peace as well as times of tremendous suffering and war. But what was on their minds? In the next two lessons, we examine the Old Testament Scriptures to find out what the Jews understood about God and what they were expecting Him to do based on the covenants He had made with Israel and the prophecies He had left with them.
