We had begun by learning about creation and the three divine institutions that God created for mankind to succeed as the under-lord of the earth. We also learnt that there was a Creator-creature distinction between God and man and nature; that God is a personal, sovereign God who relates personally to His creation and that He is the ultimate authority on right and wrong. Now, in this lesson, we will see that in contrast, the non-biblical worldview pushes three ideas: (i) the continuity of being (all beings including man and God are on a continuum and there is not much difference between them), (ii) impersonal fate and chance (no one is in charge), and (iii) self as the ultimate authority.
