Listen as Aaron and Damien discuss the documentary I Am Not Your Negro (directed by Raoul Peck), which uses James Baldwin’s unfinished book Remember This House to explore the history of racism, race relations, and the civil rights movement in the United States through James Baldwin’s work and experiences, as well as his personal and professional reflections on three incredible leaders during the civil rights movement—Medgar Evers, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X, and what we learn and take away from this incredible film and the life and legacy of James Baldwin for our continued work for social justice and collective liberation.
