Leyla discusses her work in Diversity, Inclusion, Culture and Wellbeing, as well as her intriguing interest in deserts and a love of camels. She has an impressive background from her tenure at Imperial College, London where she was the Head of Centre for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. She also worked at the University of Oxford for six years, specialising in increasing applications from underrepresented BAME young people.
Diverse Minds aims to create a positively productive workplace for all through training, coaching and consultancy. The focus is placed on wellbeing, mental health and by understanding differences.
Leyla explains how TetraMap has become an important tool in her toolkit, and how its simplicitiy helps people to open up, relax, laugh, and be creative whilst learning about themselves and others. She appreciates how it provides a safe way to celebrate and understand uniqueness, diversity, difference and culture.
She also explains how she uses TetraMap along side another tool in her leadership workshops - the TMI team management profile. Leyla says the combination of the two tools - one psychometric and one not, creates rich, deep and valuable learning for her workshop participants.
