Transgender people are front and center in the political culture war in America. Many red states are trying to ban gender-affirming care for trans youth. Thomas Duane, former New York State Senator and former New York City Council member and registered Democrat, along with Leslie Ann, a trans woman musician and registered Republican, and Josie, a trans woman health worker, who identifies as an Independent voter, discuss the attack on transgender youth.
