Taraza Tyler is a native of Rose Hill, N.C. and currently resides in Raleigh, N.C. She received her Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Central University and later founded  P.O.W.E.R, Inc. Community also known as the  Parents Owning Wealth through Education & Resiliency. P.O.W.E.R., Inc. Community is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with a mission to empower, encourage, and equip parents to obtain essential resources, life skills and ultimately become self-sufficient while facing everyday challenges. The purpose of P.O.W.E.R., Inc. Community is to enrich single parents through the power of unity by mentoring, community services, and networking events while helping them recognize their potential to attain excellence through the journey of parenthood.
