HighlightsX class solar flare, X1.9 at from old region 4274 now numbered 4299 2:26 utc today. It did produce a coronal mass ejection but it will likely not hit Earth. And produced a R3 radio blackout over Australia. This region is currently just rotating into view on the Northeast portion of the Sun. This region is still turning to face Earth.
