Episode Synopsis "Healing, Embracing Experiences and Mean Girls"
Being a young girl in general is tough, especially when you live in a small town. You can feel like if you are hurt, but it isn't the popular opinion, that it's invalid. This could be the symptoms of many things, but no matter what you're heard and your voice is valid. Other's words and actions can cause a lot of pain, and that is completely valid for you to be upset about. In this episode, Olivia talks about finally developing a voice to heal and speak her truth. We all make mistakes, but they don't invalidate our ability to still be hurt by others. We need to challenge each other to take a hard look in the mirror when we are seeking ways to hurt or hate on a girl who we have no mental data on. But... that doesn't mean blindly supporting every woman, just recognizing that feminism has a lot of work to do in healing young girls relationships with one another.
