Listen "“Malcolm X” w/ Laurence & Darren"
Episode Synopsis
“We declare our right on this earth to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary." - Malcolm X, 1992.
•
Our favorite episode to date. One of the most important quotes in world & film history. The wonderful Nelson Mandela recites the demand for respect, pride and equality uttered beautifully by Malcolm X.
•
This is an important episode for us both. We LOVE Denzel. Really, love Denzel. On top of that...Malcolm was one of our heroes. He was wrongfully labelled a terrorist, racist and more, yet history has shown his call for respect, love and change are as necessary today as they were in the 60s.
•
We hope you listen with the same love that we are sharing it with you. Enjoy.
