I declare that the account of my life would not be recounted in the context of what could have been.
May it never be said that my life was a series of potential scenarios that were never actualised.
Dear Lord, bring my thoughts into order, let my mindset be aligned to the pursuit of your will.
Every mindset of laziness, procrastination and avoidance of the road less taken I resist by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I turn my back against a culture that celebrates mediocrity and settlement under the guise of safety.
I turn my back against culture that says to be awakened you cannot be full out for Jesus.
Your sacrifice on the cross Lord cannot be diminished.
Your presence in my life cannot be denied and my inheritance cannot be taken anything less than seriously.
What was the point of your death and resurrection, Jesus?
On that cross when you were hanged like a common criminal.
With a mangled body beaten beyond recognition,
With your private bits on full undignified display,
As life ebbed from your body, life was restored to me.
You came that I would have life and have it more abundantly so I receive the ability to live.
In your fullness and in your freedom.
For this reason the son of man was made manifest
To destroy the works of the evil one.
Satan, you and your works have nowhere to hide or be entertained in my life.
I receive all that you have died for me to receive, Lord.
Lock, stock and barrel.
So help me, Spirit of the Living God.
