Episode Synopsis

Sis, you know I usually start with the sh*t we not fuxing with, but today, we fuxing with a whole bunch. I certainly have been through the fire and I am sure that there are many more fires to come, because this is life. I've gotten down on my knees and cursed God, and asked: "Is this my Life?!!!!!" But I have also had moments where my heart was so filled with joy, wonder, and quite frankly disbelief, that this immigrant girl from East Flatbush, Brooklyn could shout to the heavens (insert smiley face emoji and multiple pink hearts) "IS THIS MY LIFE!!" This weekend was certainly one of them. In todays's episode, we revisit a trip to Mole National Park in the Northern Region of Ghana. I can't put to you in words the beauty of life that I was able to witness. All guided by the amazing group WangoWango tours, which effectively means Happy Yourself. And Sis, isn't that a message. Cause nobody or no thing can happy for you. Even in this journey, that was so heart filling, there was a reminder of my Blackness, and the work many of us still have to do regarding shaking this concept of white superiority from the dark recesses of our brains, even when we in 'da bush (probably most especially when we are in 'da bush). And lastly we get an in ya' face reminder from God, that when we don't do the "snip snip" with relationships that are unbalanced, meaning, you continue to pour energy into people that don't pour back, you will be an older Sister on Medicare, doing the exact same thing (Sis don't let that be you)!
