Listen "Hope For The City: Home (Part 1) | Abel Cheah"
Episode Synopsis
One of the most famous verses of the Bible is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." But did you know that the context of this verse is about a people in exile, who are struggling with hopelessness and a bleak sense of future? Amid the pain of separation, isolation and loss, God encourages His people in exile to not only bear the hope of God, but to bring His hope into their places of exile. Join us for the next few weeks in this sermon series on what it means to have and bear God's hope for the city. Jeremiah 29:1-11
