Listen "Ep. 88: CEO of StarStock, Scott Greenberg: How He Went From Getting a B in Imagination Class to Becoming CEO of a Very Successful Sports Cards Company "
Episode Synopsis
How the f**k did Scott Greenberg go from starting a company while still in college to becoming a CEO of a startup that has raised millions in capital? Scott graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in entrepreneurship. In 2016, while still in school, he co-founded his first company Pivt, a social network app focused on helping users settle into new cities by identifying and connecting them with their friends’ friends. In 2019, he left Pivt to start another company called StarStock. StarStock is a marketplace for sports fans and card hobbyists to buy, sell, and invest in their favorite athletes through sports cards in a centralized vault. The company has raised millions in capital and just this week at the time of our recording, StarStock added Kevin Durant to its list of investors that already includes the FanDuel co-founders, Matthew Dellavedova, and former guest of the show, AJ Vaynerchuk. Today, Scott is still the CEO of StarStock. So what did he gain from his Entrepreneurship degree? And what did he teach Jake about cards?
