Episode Synopsis
How the f**k did Michael Willett and Tristan Reaves go from college football walk ons at the University of Central Florida to building up their own successful business? Today we’re talking with Michael and Tristan about their experience at UCF and how that led them to create WalkOn Nation, a developmental program for student-athletes alike across the country. Michael and Tristan both received their B.A. from the UCF in 2017. During their time in school, both Michael and Tristan played on the school’s football team and interned within the school’s student-athlete welfare and development office. After graduating, Michael became a Community Program director for Evoyent Health, and Tristan earned his Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Today, they are the co-founders of the student-athlete empowerment and enrichment company, WalkOn Nation. So how did these two guys earn their place on the UCF football team as scholarship athletes? And was Tristan just an absolute dog in high school?
