The first accidental glance wasn't sinful—it could happen to anyone. The deliberate second look, however, planted roots of desire that eventually led to adultery and murder. Coveting always demands a higher price than we initially expect to pay.For those who've been victims of others' greed, Isaac's response to having his wells repeatedly stolen offers profound wisdom. Rather than fighting for what was rightfully his during a famine, he trusted God and kept digging new wells.
