Listen "Wait!"
Episode Synopsis
As we progress through the years it seems as if “waiting” is more and more a normal part of our lives. The “waiting room” at our doctor’s is just that. Wait. And wait. And mom lived to be over 100 years old. She had to wait for our Father to take her home to Him. In the passage above, the word “wait” comes from the Hebrew “qavah” which means “to bind together like a cord” or “to entwine.” So waiting is just that — entwining ourselves in the Lord, that is, being knitted into His will, grace, and mission. We entangle ourselves in His power. And then our strength is waiting, we become STRONG! As we weave together the strands of prayer, studying His word, interacting with others, and sharing His peace, we are woven into that powerful cord.
