I pour another cup of tea and sit down to meet with God. Paging through a sheaf of prayer calendars from various missions and ministries, I lift those concerns to God. Lest I forget needs of friends and family when our women’s Bible study group meets, I list those in a small notebook. What an awe-inspiring privilege it is to “come boldly” into the presence of the God of the universe, bringing Him our seemingly impossible requests as well as those that seem too insignificant to mention! Have you ever considered that the blood of Jesus is the “red carpet” that assures a royal welcome, whatever our need? Do you see His cross as the “golden scepter” held out to assure His favor? Pour out your heart to Him! The throne room is always open!
