Listen "23.7: Routine Changes"
Episode Synopsis
Suddenly, the Division III basketball season has entered December. After starting to get into routines and playing games, class exams, holidays, and other reasons have caused there to be schedule changes, breaks, and adjustments.
On Monday's Hoopsville, we check in with a few programs who are off to great starts, but are now dealing with changes to routines. How will this impact them and other teams? Plus, there could be some shake-ups coming to the Top 25s due out later in the day. And once again Division III has lost someone who made the Division, their institution, and student-athletes he considered his own better. We reflect on the legacy of Scott Guise and other sports information professionals we have lost in recent years.
Guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline:
- Macy Miller & Cody Hartzler, No. 24 Ohio Wesleyan All-American & women's coach
- Lyndsay Schultz, No. 16 Carroll women's coach
- Anthony Medina, St. Thomas (Texas) men's coach
- Jared Wagner, York (Pa.) men's coach
Plus Dave adds his "2 Cents" to the idea of a "forced break" for all teams starting next season. And we discuss the upcoming Off Court podcasts that may just be out in time for your holiday travels!
Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com from the WBCA Studios.
