Hello there, my name is Matt Homer and welcome to Homer’s Podyssey: Conversations on Purpose.Let me tell you exactly what this new venture is all about.Over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting a host of really kind, generous and talented people all with really exciting stories to tell. These include producers, musicians, actors, writers and researchers; and that's just for starters!I gave this podcast the subtitle “Conversations on Purpose” because I wanted to find a word which unifies the different discussions that I hope to have on the show. That word, for me, was “purpose” and could apply to anything from composing music to conducting scientific research. It could also help describe efforts to create a sense of community in a local area or doing your best to support a loved one.Over the course of this podcast, I will be asking my guests about what they see as their purpose and how this inspires, motivates and empowers them to do the wonderful things that they do. So, that’s my introduction.
