Pedra Rabiee discusses what it is like to be an academic in global health with Dr. Eduardo Gómez. Dr. Eduardo J. Gómez as an Associate Professor in the College of Health at Lehigh University. A political scientist by training, Dr. Gómez’s research focuses on the politics of global health policy, with a focus on the emerging economies. He has published a myriad of scholarly and media articles and is the author of three books. His most recent book, Geopolitics in Health, was published by Johns Hopkins University press in 2018. Dr. Gómez has held prior academic appointments at Harvard University, Rutgers University, and King’s College London. He has a PhD in political science from Brown University, an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
