1/10 women and people who have periods have endometriosis. However, far less than this are actually given a diagnosis - in fact, there appears to be a barrier to timely diagnosis for many people with endo. This week, I discuss my own experience of surgery for endometriosis, how I got to that point and options that are available for those of us with endometriosis. I also share some tips that have really helped alleviate the symptoms I've had! My hot water bottle is my BEST friend. It's important to know that you're not alone in this journey and it's okay to find it difficult. Rest, give yourself lots of love and listen to your body.
