CAPTURE GOD’S VISION
"Where there is no vision, the people perish." Proverbs 29:18Introduction: In a world full of distractions, God calls us to focus on His higher vision—a divine purpose beyond earthly concerns. Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that without vision, people perish. God’s vision aligns our hearts with His eternal purpose.1. God’s Vision Is Bigger Than Our OwnWe often limit ourselves to short-term goals, but God’s vision is eternal. Habakkuk 2:2-3 urges us to trust and wait for His plan. It requires patience and faith, calling us to embrace a perspective beyond our own.Application: Are we willing to trust God’s greater vision and submit our plans to Him?2. God’s Vision is Grounded in His Word
God speaks through Scripture, guiding us like a lamp to our path (Psalm 119:105). Jeremiah 29:11 assures us of His good plans. Immersing in His Word helps us discover His vision.Application: Are we spending time in God’s Word and letting it shape our future?3. God’s Vision Requires Faith and ObedienceWalking in God’s vision means stepping out in faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). Heroes of faith like Abraham and Moses followed God’s call despite uncertainties.Application: What areas of your life need deeper trust and obedience?4. God’s Vision is About His Glory, Not OursGod’s vision seeks His glory, not our own success (1 Corinthians 10:31). Psalm 115:1 reminds us to direct all efforts toward Him.Application: Is your vision aligned with glorifying God?5. God's Vision Is Fulfilled Through the ChurchGod’s purpose is realized in community (Ephesians 4:11-13). Isaiah 54:2-3 calls us to expand our influence and embrace others in His mission. Application: How can you contribute to God’s vision in your community?Conclusion: God invites us to capture His vision—bigger than our own, grounded in His Word, requiring faith, focused on His glory, and fulfilled through His church. Seek His will and trust His guidance, knowing His vision brings life and purpose.
