Georgia State Representative, Doreen Carter was sworn in for her fifth term on January 9, 2023. Representative Carter proudly serves House District 93 including the counties of Newton, Rockdale and DeKalb, Georgia. In addition to serving as a member of the Code Revision, Education, Industry and Labor, Small Business Development, and Special Rules committees, and Treasurer of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Representative Carter has partnered with the American Heart Association Go-Red for Women Heart Health Initiative and hosts events designed to educate communities of color regarding heart diseases.
