Listen "Jacob Lawrence"
Episode Synopsis
This week we honor Black History Month (yes it is not March but we were sick last week!) with a look at the work of Jacob Lawrence. We talk briefly about his series of Toussaint L'overture. We mention his series on Harriet Tubman, Fredrick Douglass, and John Brown. We mainly talk about his series called the Migration series. Head over to our instagram @halfwaydocent to see some of the art and follow along. (sorry again it's late)
