Listen "I'll Be Back"
Episode Synopsis
“I’ll be back!” are the iconic words spoken by Arnold Schwarzenegger In the 1984 film “The Terminator.” These words were spoken first by Jesus. Remember that the earth and everything in it were created at His Word. He spoke and it was so. If He says "I'll be back" you can be certain that it will happen!
In the film, we are introduced to Sarah Connor, a seemingly ordinary waitress who is about to have an unexpected encounter with a cyborg from the future. She meets a man, Kyle Reese who has been sent back in time to protect her from this machine. She doesn’t believe him at first, as it is all too sci-fi and unbelievable, until she sees for herself that what Kyle tells her is true.
He tells her of his time in the future, where humanity is all but wiped out. He explains that her son will lead a resistance force to fight against the machines that are destroying human life.
She is trying to prevent something she calls “Judgment Day.” We believe that the Bible says:
Heb 9:27 And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment, 28 Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him. (may we be eagerly expecting His return!)
John 14:3 ·After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am.
