Martin is Founder and CEO of Americord Registry, a company that preserves umbilical cord blood stem cells on behalf of expectant mothers. They ranked for the past three years as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Before founding Americord, Martin was an investment banker in Healthcare and Healthcare Technology at BMO Capital Markets. Martin worked in investment banking at Wells Fargo Securities, and also at American Capital (Private Equity) and NewMarket (Venture Capital). He did work in the healthcare sector as well for Biomet, now Zimmer Biomet. Martin received an MBA from American University and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Biology.
